IO1 - Student Assessment Toolkit

Objectives of activities carried out:
This phase is devoted to to identify the areas where the students' maths entry skills need to be improved. It foresees a section for the students to self-assess their knowledge and a section to provide teachers with final tests to assess students’ knowledge

Description of activities carried out:
Pixel, in cooperation with IPB, produced a detailed calendar of activities in order to identify the different partners' roles, deadlines and responsibilities. Pixel also contributed to the development of the following template:
- IO1.A – Assessment Tools
The form has been presented and approved during the kick-off meeting.

Pixel also defined the structure of the platform identifying the different users' typologies (admin, lecturer, students) and related privileges and roles on the platform.
Pixel also implemented the following sections on the project portal:
- registration section for lecturers and students
- panel for questions creation
- panel for organisations' administration
- panel for lecturers' administration
- panel for final assessment creation
- panel for final assessment

Pixel continuously monitored and supported the work of the partners for the development of the intellectual output.

Results Achieved:
The results are excellent. The platform already provides access to more than 900 questions related to several math topics and subtopics.
